We are Allyn and Molly Bottorff, an engineer and a physical therapist by trade, followers of Christ, partners in life and marriage. We enjoy our chocolate lab Belle, playing guitar on the worship team at church, living within ten minutes of our parents, good books, captivating TV series, working out together at the local gym, cooking, and spending time with our friends. This blog was created as an outlet for our thoughts and photos, and as a way to document this journey that we are on. We hope that you enjoy our ramblings and that they serve to help call to remembrance the good things that God has done for us all.
On the name:
Ebenezer comes from 1 Samuel 7:12 where Samuel sets up a stone and calls it “ebenezer” which translates as “stone of help.” Our everyday ebenezers are the things we find in our lives that represent and remind us of God’s help and intervention for us.
Hedraios: a Greek adjective meaning “steadfast.”
1 Corinthians 15:58 “Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.”
